Charges Pending In Connection With NECH Drug Lab

City police say more than half a kilo of fentanyl was seized during a raid on a suspected drug lab on Thursday.

Quantities of meth, coke, magic Mushrooms and GHB – commonly referred to as a date rape drug – were also seized when local police were joined by a Mountie team specializing in clandestine drug labs to execute at warrant at the home.

Police arrived at the home located at 75 12th Street NW Thursday and were seen at the residence for most of the afternoon.

City police allege fentanyl was being was being altered and combined with other chemicals at the home.

Two individuals were taken into custody, and police say charges are pending.
