City Chief Financial Officer No Longer Working for City
For the second time in 10 months, the city will be looking for a new corporate services director following the resignation of Dennis Egert and the removal of his replacement, Jilian Campbell, from the city website.
Campbell was hired in March to replace Egert who resigned suddenly following a decade long tenue at the city.
The move also comes on the same day as city manager Ann Mitchell was unceremoniously terminated by city council during an early morning meeting Friday.
No official notice has been provided by the city regarding the departure.
Campbell was hired by Mitchell and had moved to the city from Strathcona County where she held the position of strategic planning and financial coordination.
She was not present at the last council meeting while the city audit committee which was supposed to be presented the latest city financial reports earlier this week was cancelled.
More to come……
