Jury Finds Man Accused of Sex Crimes Not Guilty On All Counts

A city jury has found a 52-year-old city man not guilty of six counts of sex crimes committed against a youth late Tuesday evening.

The Owl is not identifying the complainant due to a publication ban nor the accused due to the relationship between the two.

The 52-year-old was initially charged in 2021 on charges ranging from extortion, making child pornorgraphy, sexual interference, sexual assault, allegations he testified are false during the trial.

The complainant testified to numerous sexual interactions with the accused over several years, including the accused making videos of those encounters.

Direct evidence of the existence of any such videos were not presented to jurors.
