AHS Lifts Water Quality Advisory For Golden Sheaf Park

AHS published this today.

FORTY MILE – Effective immediately, Alberta Health Services (AHS) has lifted the water quality advisory that was issued July 24, 2026, for the water at the Golden Sheaf Park beach.

Water quality has returned to an acceptable level, and the health risk is low for usage of the beach for recreational purposes.

As always, visitors and residents are reminded to never drink or cook with untreated water directly from any river, lake or reservoir, at any time.

Alberta Health Services provides acute care services for more than five million Albertans at hospitals, urgent care centres and health centres across the province. Our mission is to provide excellent and accessible patient-focused healthcare for all Albertans.
