Golden Sheaf Park Beach Water Advisory: Open, But Swim at Your Own Risk
With the Echo Dale Swim Lake closed for the entire summer, local families have fewer places to cool off. The water at Golden Sheaf Park Beach is currently under a water quality advisory. The lake is not closed, but health officials are urging people to be aware of the risks and take precautions to stay healthy.
Update -Province Promises AISH/ADAP Recipients Money By July 31
A technical glitch with the new Alberta Disability Assistance Program (ADAP) has left some Albertans without their August payments. The province confirmed it is aware of "technical issues" affecting some disability income payments and says it is working to identify impacted clients and fix the issues.
